IT'S VERY EASY: Get Started and review our YouTube videos on using MERLOT. You will need to register as a member of MERLOT – It too is FREE and EASY!
MERLOT also has a FREE OER authoring tool called MERLOT CONTENT BUIDLER where you can easily create and host your OER (see the videos showing how easy it is to be an OER author!)

Use MERLOT's online Learning Exercise form to share the goals, learning outcomes, teaching strategies, assessment rubrics, and more about how you are using the resource. Just type in your text and publish it in MERLOT.

Use MERLOT's Content Builder template for BCU faculty to create a rich teaching eportofolio explaining why and how you are using the open textebook to achieve student learning outcomes and include students' reactions and success. Get started by asking Clarissa West-White to send you a copy of the Faculty Showcase Template to your MERLOT account.

Second: Fill out the online form to contribute a Material. (It will take about 4 minutes the first time. MERLOT provides systematic instructions on our YouTube Channel and a handout (PDF).
